The people and the place.
A pediatric clinic is built differently than a general dental office. Quieter waiting room, smaller instruments, gentler pacing, and a team that makes the chair the friendliest part of the visit.
Pediatric care from trusted hands.
A pediatric dental specialist and a medical anesthesiologist working side by side, so every child gets the right level of care for their visit.

What to expect on a visit
What a typical visit looks like
Kids start in the chair with their parent next to them. The hygienist walks them through every tool before it goes in their mouth, at a pace that suits the child.
The pediatric dentist then comes in for the exam: a careful check of the teeth, gums, and bite, and a plain-language summary for the parent. If we see something that needs follow-up, we walk you through the options before you leave.
If your child is anxious
Anxious kids are the kids pediatric dentistry was built for. We pace the visit slowly, use distraction (often a show overhead in the room), let parents stay close, and never start something we have not explained first. For children whose anxiety is more pronounced, sedation is available, from nitrous oxide for routine procedures to in-office sleep dentistry for the more complex ones.
Read more about our sedation options or talk to us at the consultation.
Where we are
The clinic is at 5-10 Meadowglen Drive in Whitby, conveniently located in the Durham region for families from Whitby, Brooklin, Oshawa, Ajax, and the surrounding communities.
Pediatric-grade tools for small smiles.
The treatment side of pediatric dentistry is a different practice than adult dentistry. Different instruments, different materials, different protocols.
Digital X-rays
Sensors place into the mouth and images form almost immediately on the chair-side screen. Lower radiation than traditional film X-rays, and we can walk through the result with you on the spot.
BIOLASE Epic X diode laser
A soft-tissue diode laser used for procedures such as frenectomies, sterilizing canals, and treating periodontal tissue. Pre-set procedures and dedicated handpieces support precise, low-discomfort treatment.
Surgically Clean Air filtration
A six-step air-filtration system installed in our operatories that removes airborne bacteria and particulates so the surrounding air stays clean while we work.
