About
Dr. Evan Zaretsky studied sciences at York University, then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2006. He went on to complete a one-year pediatric residency at the Montreal Children's Hospital, followed by a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Toronto in 2011.
He grew up in Thornhill, Ontario, and his primary practice since graduation has always been located in the Durham region.
Dr. Zaretsky served the Durham dental community for seven years on the executive council of the Durham Ontario Dental Society, including roles as Secretary, President, and Immediate Past President. He is also the author of Ashley's Elephant, a children's book.
Outside the clinic he is an avid cyclist and swimmer, and enjoys scuba diving and hockey. He is married with three children, and rides each year in the Becel Ride for Heart and Stroke and the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer.
